California Tortilla Deal
California Tortilla Halloween: $5 Off Burritos in Costume (October 2026)
California Tortilla is celebrating Halloween 2026 with a deal for costumed customers and one for everyone else. Wear a costume on October 31 and get $5 off any burrito or bowl. Prefer to skip the costume? You can still save $10 off Family Meals ordered online with the code BOO. According to SwagGrabber’s Halloween freebies and deals roundup for 2026, updated October 20, both offers are live for the spooky season.

The costume deal is the star of the show. Burritos and bowls are the heart of the California Tortilla menu, so $5 off either one on Halloween is a meaningful discount on a full meal. The offer rewards the Halloween spirit directly: show up in costume on October 31, and the savings are yours. It is one of the stronger costume-based restaurant deals this year because the discount applies to regular menu items, not a special limited menu.
The second offer is the sleeper hit. If dressing up is not your thing, or if you are feeding the whole crew before trick-or-treating, the $10 off Family Meals deal ordered online with code BOO needs no costume at all. Family Meals are built for exactly that kind of night: one order, everyone fed, and a $10 discount on top. For a Halloween-night dinner with kids in tow, that combination is hard to beat.
The Deal Details
There are two ways to save. On October 31, 2026, customers who wear a costume get $5 off any burrito or bowl at California Tortilla. Separately, customers who order Family Meals online can take $10 off with the promo code BOO, and no costume is required for that one. The listing from SwagGrabber does not attach an expiration date to the Family Meals code, so check with your location or californiatortilla.com for the exact cutoff.
| Deal | Price | Valid |
|---|---|---|
| $5 off any burrito or bowl when you wear a costume | $5 off | October 31, 2026 |
| $10 off Family Meals ordered online with code BOO (no costume needed) | $10 off | Halloween period (confirm end date with your location) |
The $5 off burrito or bowl deal is particularly flexible because it applies to any burrito or bowl on the menu. You are not locked into one Halloween special item. Build your usual order, wear the costume, and take the discount. The Family Meals discount, meanwhile, is an online order with a simple code, which makes it the easiest of the two to claim.
How to Claim
Pick the deal that fits your Halloween plans:
- For $5 off a burrito or bowl: put on a costume on October 31, 2026, visit a participating California Tortilla, and order any burrito or bowl. The $5 discount applies to your order.
- For $10 off Family Meals: order a Family Meal online, enter the promo code BOO at checkout, and take $10 off. No costume required.
- Confirm with your location before heading out, since participation can vary.
The costume deal is an in-person visit, while the Family Meals deal runs through online ordering with the code. If you are feeding a group on Halloween night, you could technically do both: grab a costumed burrito run for yourself and order a discounted Family Meal for the crew.

- Code BOO for Family Meals: the $10 off Family Meals discount is for online orders with promo code BOO, no costume needed.
- End date not specified: the listing does not give an expiration date for the Family Meals code, so confirm with your location.
- Participating locations: check californiatortilla.com or your local restaurant for participation details.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a costume to get the $10 off Family Meals deal?
No. The $10 off Family Meals deal uses promo code BOO on online orders and requires no costume. Only the $5 off burrito or bowl deal needs a costume.
When is the costume deal valid?
October 31, 2026. Wear a costume on Halloween day to get $5 off any burrito or bowl.
Does the $5 off apply to any burrito or bowl?
Yes. The listing says $5 off any burrito or bowl, so you can order your usual and take the discount.
How do I use the code BOO?
Order a Family Meal online at California Tortilla and enter BOO at checkout to take $10 off. Confirm the current end date with your location since the listing does not specify one.
Can I use both deals?
The two deals target different orders: the costume discount is for in-person burrito or bowl purchases on October 31, and the BOO code is for online Family Meal orders. Plan them as separate orders.
California Tortilla pulled off something clever this Halloween: a deal for the costume crowd and a deal for everyone else. Wear the costume on October 31 for $5 off your burrito or bowl, or skip the dress-up and take $10 off a Family Meal online with code BOO. Either way, dinner is handled before the candy haul begins.
