National Pizza Month takes place every October, and this year’s celebration kicked off on October 1. Schlotzsky’s, the chain famous for its sourdough-bun sandwiches, is going all in on the pizza side of its menu with two separate promotions that together cover almost every day of the week. The $5 Core Pizza options include Double Cheese and Pepperoni and Double Cheese, while the $7 Premium Pizza choices include Meaty, Supreme, Veggie, BBQ Chicken, and Jalapeno.
SweetDealsFinder’s October pizza freebies roundup, published October 19, confirms both offers independently: BOGO free pizza, calzone, or flatbread on Wednesdays, plus $5 Core Pizza or $7 Premium Pizza Friday through Sunday after 5 p.m. With the two deals stacked across the calendar, there is a Schlotzsky’s pizza discount available on nearly every day of the month.
The Deal Details
Schlotzsky’s is running two deals in October. On Wednesdays, customers get buy-one-get-one-free on pizza, calzones, and flatbreads, which makes Wednesday the best day of the week for feeding a group. From Friday through Sunday after 5 p.m., individual pizzas are discounted to $5 for Core varieties and $7 for Premium varieties, which is a strong price for a dinner-sized pizza from a national chain.
| Deal | Price | Valid |
|---|---|---|
| BOGO free: buy one pizza, calzone, or flatbread, get one free | Free second item | Wednesdays in October 2026 |
| $5 Core Pizza (Double Cheese, Pepperoni and Double Cheese) | $5 | Friday to Sunday after 5 PM, October 2026 |
| $7 Premium Pizza (Meaty, Supreme, Veggie, BBQ Chicken, Jalapeno) | $7 | Friday to Sunday after 5 PM, October 2026 |
The weekend pricing is the headline for value hunters. A $5 Double Cheese pizza or a $7 BBQ Chicken pizza after 5 p.m. on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday undercuts most delivery deals from the big pizza chains. The Premium lineup is worth a look too: Meaty, Supreme, Veggie, BBQ Chicken, and Jalapeno all drop to $7, so the upgrade from a Core pizza costs just two extra dollars.
How to Claim
The two deals have different sweet spots:
- Wednesdays: order any pizza, calzone, or flatbread and get a second one free. This is the day for groups, game nights, and feeding the office.
- Friday through Sunday after 5 p.m.: order a Core Pizza for $5 or a Premium Pizza for $7. Go after 5 p.m. or you miss the window.
- Check your local Schlotzsky’s for participation, since offers can vary by location.
Savannah Morning News notes that The Krazy Coupon Lady’s list includes participating-location restrictions for individual offers, so customers should check the terms before ordering. A quick look at schlotzskys.com or a call to your neighborhood location will confirm what is live near you.
