Krispy Kreme has long been one of the friendliest stops on the Halloween circuit, and 2026 is no different. The chain is rewarding anyone in costume with a complimentary doughnut on both October 30 and October 31, so you can grab the treat a day early or right on Halloween night. There is no purchase necessary, which makes this one of the easiest freebies of the season to claim.
The timing also lines up with Krispy Kreme’s Looney Tunes Halloween Doughnut Collection, which is available through October 31. That gives costume-clad guests a seasonal backdrop for their visit: pick up the free Classic Ring or Original Glazed, and browse the Halloween collection while you are there. Whether you are out trick-or-treating with kids, heading to a costume party, or just wearing something fun for the day, the offer is simple enough to fold into any October 30 or 31 plans.
Free Costume Doughnut Details
The Halloween costume offer is straightforward: wear a costume to a participating Krispy Kreme shop on October 30 or 31, 2026, and receive a free Original Glazed doughnut or a free Classic Ring doughnut. No purchase is necessary to receive the free doughnut. The offer is tied to being in costume, so the key qualifier is showing up dressed for the occasion on one of the two offer days.
Alongside the freebie, Krispy Kreme is running its Looney Tunes Halloween Doughnut Collection through October 31, 2026. The collection gives guests seasonal doughnut options to pair with the free offer, and it is only available while the Halloween season lasts. If you want to try the collection flavors, October 30 and 31 are the natural days to visit, since the costume freebie and the collection overlap on those dates.
| Deal Item | Price | Validity |
|---|---|---|
| Original Glazed doughnut (in costume) | Free | Oct 30-31, 2026 |
| Classic Ring doughnut (in costume) | Free | Oct 30-31, 2026 |
Because the offer runs on two consecutive days, families can plan around their schedules. Trick-or-treaters who are out on October 30 can grab the free doughnut that evening, and Halloween-night crowds get the same opportunity on October 31. The no-purchase-necessary structure also means there is no minimum spend or required menu item to unlock the treat.
How to Claim
Step one is the costume. Put on a costume on October 30 or 31, 2026, and wear it to a participating Krispy Kreme shop. The offer is specifically for guests in costume, so plan the outfit as part of your Halloween plans and keep it on for the visit.
Step two is the visit itself. Head to a participating shop on either October 30 or October 31. Let the team know you are there for the Halloween costume freebie. You do not need to buy anything else to qualify, since no purchase is necessary.
Step three is the choice. Pick between the free Original Glazed doughnut and the free Classic Ring doughnut. Both are covered by the offer, so it comes down to preference: the signature glazed or the classic ring style.
Finally, check whether your shop is participating before you make a special trip. The offer is limited to participating shops, and a quick check with your local Krispy Kreme saves a wasted drive, especially on a busy Halloween evening.
Terms and Exclusions
The offer is valid only on October 30 and October 31, 2026. Visits on other dates do not qualify, even if you are in costume, since the offer window is limited to those two days.
Only participating Krispy Kreme shops are included. Shop-level participation can vary, so confirm with your local shop if you are unsure. The freebie is limited to the two named varieties: the Original Glazed doughnut or the Classic Ring doughnut. Other doughnuts, including the Looney Tunes Halloween Doughnut Collection items, are not part of the free costume offer.
No purchase is necessary to receive the free doughnut. Specific per-guest limits were not stated by the source, so ask the shop team if you are visiting with a large group in costume.
